Risoluzione Usa alle Nazioni Unite contro Corea del Nord: "inasprire le ...



Gli Stati Uniti hanno presentato una risoluzione al consiglio di sicurezza dell'Onu. Se approvata, inasprirebbe fortemente le già esistenti sanzioni contro la Corea del Nord. Una mossa decisa dopo il test nucleare effettuato il 6 gennaio da Pyongyang. La risoluzione è il risultato di settimane di trattative tra Usa e Cina.

Risoluzione Ue: "fermate la vendita di armi all'Arabia Saudita"



Avviare un'iniziativa per imporre un embargo sulla vendita di armi all'Arabia Saudita da parte di Paesi come Gran Bretagna, Francia e Italia. È questo il contenuto della risoluzione approvata giovedì dal parlamento europeo, con 359 voti a favore e 212 contrari.
La decisione dell'assemblea comunitaria non è vincolante verso i membri, ma potrebbe creare un certo imbarazzo con Riad, che aveva chiesto attraverso il suo ambasciatore presso l'Unione Europea di non approvare la risoluzione.

BBC, rapporto interno sul caso Savile sottolinea clima di paura



C'era un clima di paura e di ossequio generalizzato nei confronti delle celebrità della BBC: è un rapporto interno di ottocento pagine su 72 casi di abusi pedofili di una star come Jimmy Savile, morto nel 2011, a fare luce sul più grave scandalo nella televisione pubblica britannica. C'è da supporre che una parte del management sapesse, ma non vi sono prove di responsabilità dirette del gruppo, si legge nel rapporto.
